recommend a PSU

Hi guys, sorry not sure where this thread should go so trying here.

My pc has stopped responding today - power button does nothing. When i take the power cable out and put it back in the pc isnt making that familar electricity charge sound. So i am assuming its the PSU has gone.

sooo.... I have a ATX-450 win power PSU on a conroa 1333-D667 dual channel motherboard.

Can you guys reccomend a similar cheap PSU which i can replace it with!

What is your full spec?

if your 450w win power psu could run your pc, then this can too

I have

a Conroe motherboard 1333-d667 dual channel
witha pentium d processor - not sure of speed
and a 4600 nvidia card
it also has 2 gig of ram

400 watt psu can do da job.

You sure it's the PSU? Do you know how to test it without it being in the pc.
