Can anyone suggest a decent router to go with BT infinity?
It's getting installed in a week, and will have a SBS 2011 server behind it. I'm hoping that the server will be able to sort out most things on the router with UPnP.

Does it need a specific kind of router? I don't know what ports the BT modem has on it.

Draytek 2750n is one that caught my eye.. any good?

I don't understand why you'd want to change away from the HH that is supplied - it is at least as good as most routers up to about £75 and costs nowt. There's another thread on here and IMHO it's just money down the drain. The supplied router can do most things with just a bit of tweaking...

Mine was the other thread! People there suggested either the cisco E3000 or E2000.

The home hub is a fine basic router, seems quite reliable and does what it can do perfectly well, but you don't have a great deal of control over the firewall functions, there is no VPN, Drayteks can do WOL - all depends what you need from your router.

exactly it's perfectly good for 99% of people...like I said, just my opinion!
