Title says it all.
Name a song you like and think other people would enjoy with the style etc.

Nothing everyones heard of though, obviously.

My suggestion:
Extreme - Hip Today
Pretty cool track. Nuno Bettencourt is a funky riff monster. Has the kind of feel you get when a band works well together and they're all on the same wavelength.

At the moment I'm loving stuff by Lily Allan(daughter of the comic Keith), only heard two tracks Smile and Knock 'em Out but they are great. She does have a mySpace page with a few more tracks on it I believe.

Otherwise I'd nominate pretty much anything by Hall & Oates, Family Man in particular :)

Hell is for heroes - Slow song
Hell is for heroes - They will call us savages
Hell is for heroes - You me and a whole lotta funk 45's

Just a few :D

Frenzal Rhomb - Everything's ****ed.
Lord Bishop - Great ass.
Muse - Map of your head.
Nick Drake - Place to be.
Rich Hall/Otis Lee Crenshaw - Uncle Muncie
Scissorfight - New Hampshire's alright if you like fighting
Stone Temple Pilots - Dead and Bloated
Tool - Sober
Bjork - Hyperballad
Ghoti Hook - My Bike
Stoopi - Six Minutes
Vandals - My girlfriend's dead.

Gnarls Barcley - Who Cares

The Academy Is - Classifieds

Snow Patrol - Set Fire To The Third Bar

Sigur Ros - Glosoli

hundred reasons - stalemate

its on gran turismo so if youve played that im shure youve heard it, really like the verse part, not normally a fan of theres, actually, this is the only song of thier's i listen to.

DragonForce - Through The Fire And The Flames

Power hair metal rock at its best, stupendous solos and exceptional harmonies, dragonforce will RULE YOU!

The problem with this song is it takes about 30 minutes of listening to get to grips with it, plus the sound is faily obscure (to your average joe).

Most people I show this song fob it off without even giving it time of day. Great song though. :D

1. Fisherspooner - Cloud
2. Imogen Heap - Hide and Seek (I think most people have heard this actually).
3. Motion City Soundtrack - Everything is Alright
3. Sufjan Stevens - The Henney Buggy Band

Ben Gibbard - Farmer Chords (indie acoustic track by the lead singer of Death Cab)

Modest Mouse - All Nite Diner (lo-fi indie, reminds me of the Pixies at their best)

Guster - Happy Frappy (the perfect song for summer imo, with bongos!)

Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble - Mary Had A Little Lamb
Michelle Branch - Breathe
Marcy Playground - Sex And Candy
4 non blondes - Pleasantly Blue or Superfly
Blessid Union Of Souls - Hey Leonardo (She Likes Me For Me)

a song that everybody likes.. its nearly summer...

erm...

urban cookie collective - the key the secret

lol.. funny.. but come on, everybody loves this

EDIT: right, am i naming a song that nobody has heard of that i might think people will like? or just a song i think people will like??

something by kappernicus if you want to go all underground "i know more unheard of songs than you"
