Recommend a Trailer

Hi all. I may be buying a track bike in a couple of weeks, so would need a trailer to get it about.

I have one or two friends who may want me to take their bikes too, so 2 or 3 spaces would be preferable.

I may be asking too much, but I'm hoping not to spend more than about £300 (I don't mind using eBay or Gumtree)

The last thing, I don't have a great deal of space, so it would need to be either lite or collapsible to I can get it through a garden fence gate

Does such a thing exist at that price?

Hmm, they do exist but not at that price, MOTOLUG make a great collapsible trailer. but its very expensive

You can only just about get a budget 1 bike trailer for £300 new. You will probably be looking at £500-£600 minimum for a decent 2 bike trailer tbh. I've been looking into this recently as i'm hoping to get a track bike soon also

Like you say, a 2nd hand one may be your best bet to save some pennies.

What car are you going to be towing with?

A Kia C'eed to tow it.

I'm not really interested in new tbh, probably rather a waste of money when it will do the same as one a few years old.

I bought a 2 bike trailer for track days 3 years back. fully galvanised etc.. £200

but with limited storage and access you need to be careful what u buy
