Recommend a TV card

Are there any cards that will receive freesat and/or freesatHD. That would solve the problem of you having a pants digi signal, and also i would like one if they are available

Yep, used it all the time until I installed Vista.

The THC is nice and glamorous but doesn't work all that well really :-(

Bugger. Just been looking at the black gold card that some one recommended. It looks good, although a review said it needs power from the PSU - can anyone comfirm this, and if so what connection?

It would appear the card doesn't come with a remote or any software either. From the pics of it I cant see a connection that would accomodate a PSU plug.

I need a card with good supplied software, as I dont have media centre and I would like to be able to surf and watch TV at the same time and IIRC you cant do that in MC.

It does come with its own viewing SW which is WinTV & Radio but its ugly as hell..
I run WMC in a window so i can surf & have EVE running at the same time

Yep there are a few freesat compatable cards, but I'll be waiting untill we get switched over before ending up on that road I think.

I understand someone asked about the different options of software.

I think Media Centre is exceptional but you could also try
Media Portal, Power Cinema, GB-PVR media centre is the best though.

Hmm after looking at media portal and GB PVR I dont think the "media center" thing is for me. I quite liked the compro software as it looked smart and I thought it was easy to manage but it just kept ruddy crashing!
