Recommend an Email Client

Can anyone recommend a good email program as I want to try something else for Outlook XP/2003 etc is testing my patience.

I suffer error problems with Outlook when sending/receiving email so I want another program which will do the same to rule out Outlook being the main problem in my suffering.

I use a lot of IMAP accounts so support is essential.

thunderbird is the mozilla alternative, nice little thing

there's a portable version too, so you can keep it on a usb key, or upload it to webspace and download it when you need it

Windows Mail rules, but that's only on Vista.

Erm Eudora? Thunderbird?

I use Windows Live Mail Desktop Beta...I really like it and the native junk email filtering is pretty good.

Also works with your hotmail account(s) which is definitely a plus.

Thunderbird is ace, I use it for my 2 Uni email accounts. With minimisetotray extension, you can leave it running in the task tray and not have it clogging up your space on the menu bar.

I use Outlook - but I will concede its IMAP support really, really sucks.

Thunderbird is far better at this.

I use it for my private email, my Uni email and my Gmail account. All three running on SSL as well.
