Hi all,

Has anyone any suggestions for an MP3 player which I could use when in the gym, or out jogging ?

Need one with a reasonable amount of storage, and fairly small. Also, a good set of headphones if possible.

All suggestions welcome.

Thanks.

iPod + Koss Sporta pro. That's all you need. I have iPod nano - it is amazing player, small, handy. There are three types of Nano - 2GB, 4GB, or 8GB of storage.

I would say a sony nw-a608 or lower which have 1-2gb of storage, superb battery life, and great sound. Nanos are good too but I prefer the sony style to be honest. Everyone slags off the software but Sonicstage is perfectly decent, I've had 0 problems with two different machines but Connect is supposed to be terrible.

Headphones with any player are crap, I think the Sportas are similar to the porta pros but not quite as good. I wouldn't recommend that sort of headphones for the gym anyway because they will leak sound and you can hear everything around you. A good set of in ear noise cancelling headphones will set you back varying degrees of cash depending on how much you are willing to spend. I think the Sennheiser CX300s are highly recommended in the cheaper variety whereas the Shure E2/E3 are a bit more pricey but I use them (E3).

The Koss Porta pros are cool, superb sound and cheap but the styling might not be to your taste. Like I said though unless you would prefer to hear your surrounding then check out the above ones.
