Looking to move to N but will have to support simulataneous mixed N and G (is that possible or does it just drop to lowest).

No overly concerned whether it is single band 150 or dual band 300.

After stable device with good wireless range.

Must have ADSL modem.

Not bothered whether it is 100Mbit or 1Gbit.

What would you recommend?

Cheers,

Nigel

i have a netgear DGND3300 : 4 x 100Mbit ethernet.

Is it any good?

What is range like?

Can it handle G and N at the same time?

Is the wireless connection stabel or does it drop regularly?

Cheers,

Nigel

trouble with draytek business routers they have all the features if you can figure out how to use them, i also have a draytek 2820Vn an important QoS feature could only be changed via telnet O.o that's dumb.

the 2710N is a SoHO router (small office and home) whilst the 2820 is pure business class. besides the OP just wants a good quality router with excellent wifi which any draytek will do with very little configuration.

sounds as though the op already has a modem router abyway - why not add a wireless access point - suggest a draytek vigor AP700 for a very cheap £65.00 (love these - have installed dozens of them) which will give brilliant wifi results.
