Recommend CPU Heatsink For A8N32

Hi,

Does anyone have any recommendations for a CPU heatsink for an A8N32 with a AMD 3800+ Duel Core also Corsair 2GB DDR XMS3500LL Pro TwinX, these memory modules go high up and there is little room around the CPU 939 socket.

Im thinking of getting this one ThermalRight SI-120, u will need to get a 12cm fan for it tho. It has good clearance around the socket and should clear your ram

Interesting that you suggest that one because i had my eye on the ThermalRight XP-120, but i know of a setup with a Asus A8N-premium and a ThermalRight XP-120 with the Corsair 2GB DDR XMS3500LL Pro TwinX that it just clears the first slot by a couple of millimeters.

And since the A8N32 cpu socket sits even closer to the memory sockets, i think there could be issues.

The si120 is a revised version of the xp to deal with clearance problems. The si has more clearance around the socket and is higher than the xp. Go on thermalright site and look at both coolers they have compatability charts for motherboards.
