Recommend games PS3 and DS.

Brother just bought a PS3, would like some recommendation forcoop/ 2 player games. Any genre really, so long as it's fun.

Both already played through Lego Star Wars on't 360.

Also, any hidden gems for the DS? Bought one from MM. Bought/ordered;

New Super Mario Bros. is good if you're into 2d platformers. I'm a big fan of Yoshi's Touch and Go too.

If you played it on the SNES, it's a different game... FFIII for the SNES is actually FFVI. FFIII for the DS is FFIII for the Famicom, and was only translated into English for the DS.

I've not heard particularly great things about The DS's Assasin's Creed, I have to say. I considered it when I heard about it, but the reviews put me right off.

Advance Wars and Mario Kart are all you really need. You'll be set for life with just those two.

I'm enjoying Professor Layton and the curious village (or whatever it's called, it's something like that) on the DS. I'd a puzzle game which has kept me busy for a while.

Cool, thanks, most are rentals anyway so not worried if they're poor.

Any 'pickup and play' games when I've got a spare 5 minutes, nothing like Zelda where you have to do it in 30-60 minute sections due to saves.

Even in Zelda you can play it in short bursts. Just close the DS between sessions. The battery on standby lasts absolutely ageeeees.

Hotel Dusk: Room 215 is extremely worth it.

For co-op on the PS3, get Lego Indiana Jones and Lego Star Wars. Loads of fun
