I’m posting this in cases as the ‘show us your desks’ thread also uses the case forum, if wrong can a mod please move.
I require some desks for a home office, I’m looking for something that’s modular with a curved desk in the corner. I picture says a thousand words, and the following link is to what I have in mind.
New office layout
Measurements are approx., however design is largely correct.
As you can see there is 2 rooms. The larger room is the main office and the smaller room is a computer / server room. The smaller room does appear a little over kill for just computers, but over time I expect it will be used for storage also. I’m planning on making a hole in the skirting between the rooms and run all DVI/USB cables from one room to the next. This will mean that the main office is totally silent and un-cluttered.
I've been looking at Ikea’s Galant desks, I like there solid construction with the metal frame supporting the sides and top.
Is there any other suggestions anyone could recommend, I did look at the ‘show us your desk’ thread but never quite noticed what I was after.
