I have two very old HP2208w monitors working together with 2xGTX460 SLI and I really need to change these out and move to higher than 1600 resolutions.

I have been considering IPS, but I need two monitors and not really willing to spend over £400 on both of them.

My requirements.

1. 1920x1080 DVI and or HDMI mode minimum
2. 24inch or higher, depending on budget
3. Ideally 120Hz
4. 2x same monitor < £400 + VAT
5. Decent adjustable stands to put them side by side.

I mainly process data, photo / video edit and play the odd diablo III / SkyRim type games. I know IPS would be best, but i think they are out of budget.

Do not need or want 3D

I am not a brand junky and so as long as they are decent and have UK warranty through OC I would be happy.

Can you link to OC shop please a recommendation of a good monitor

Thank you

IPS is cheaper than 120Hz when it comes to a good monitor. The Dell u2412m for example is cheaper than the BenQ XL2420T and the Dell u2312m is cheaper than the Samsung S23A750D/S23A950D. Do you really need 24"+? Because basically with IPS you have the options:
1920x1080 @ 23" (or 21.5")
1920x1200 @ 24" (a lot more expensive)
If you have a little bit of patience then there are also a few options in the 27" range such as the Dell S2740L. LG has a similar monitor the IPS277L-BN but no shop in the UK has them in stock yet.
