Recommend me a £350 Digital Camera

Hi all,

Looking to get a camera for about £350 ( £400 Including card etc... ) and was would like to know what you guys recommend.
It needs to have a few options for my use but then also point and shoot idiot mode for the wife

for an example the Fuji s9500 is one i've looked at but can I do better for the money?.

Have you considered the Canon S3 IS it can be bought for about £330 now and is an excellent camera with a monster zoom

Your options are Canon S3 IS as already suggested or Panasonic FZ7 (or if you want to spend about £20ish more then the FZ30).....

I'd personally go for the FZ30.

Just bought a Canon A620 for £168 - so far so good - not had a chance to down load what I have taken yet though

Looked at all of the above - bought myself a Fuji S9500

It's a damn good camera.

Am Leaning towards the Canon S3 IS, good shots, movie mode is a good extra and the Image stabilizationon is camera is rated well, ( when the wife takes pictures it looks like she shakes like shes just come off the booze

)

You won't be dissapointed, I wasn't and I spent quite a while looking as I didn't want to go to d-SLR.

The S3 IS can be a good point and shoot, but when you start playing with it, it then becomes an amazing piece of kit.
