What games have you really enjoyed ?

Currently looking at The Darkness. Is there any other good racing games out ? Dirt isnt my kind of racing game so i wouldnt buy that.

Cheers ;)

DOA4 - once you have leanred the basics its such a good game. Still massive on live too.

Also: Earth Defense Force 2017 - dont knock this till you've played it. Its all about the pure gameplay . Soooooo retro. :)

I didn't think much of the Crackdown demo either. The full game is much much better.

My current fave is Flatout Ultimate Carnage. Such a laugh, especially on live.

Just wanted to agree, EDF2017 is a gem, and especially good for offline co-op, plus it's only £20. It's old skool, and it's deliberately b-movie and over-the-top, but it's just a lot of fun to play. 54 levels (ok, some of them are quite short), loads of weapons, driveable vehicles, destructible buildings, giant ants, giant spiders, giant robots, giant spaceships, all in ridiculous numbers, plus the most enormouse bosses. Graphics aren't half as bad as some people make out either, especially when you consider the amount of enemies.

Prey - Best FPS on the console and you can get it dirt cheap now. Failing that get The Darkness ;)

One of the most enjoyable I've played in a long time was Just Cause. Graphically wasn't that good, but the play area was absolutely gigantic, bigger than Test Drive Unlimited, bigger than Oblivion and had some really good missions. Nowhere as good as any GTA game but I think probably better than Saints Row.

Dunno about cod 2 but cod 3 multiplayer on live is utter carp
I've just started playing it, some people rave about it, I think it's 'ok' - just getting abit bored of it now. Annoying how difficult it is to hold an area, and you seem to be forever respawning.

It looks quite good this game, can you play it co-op over live?
