Hi there,

I currently have a Logitech MX3100 set which is the LX700 keyboard with a MX1000 laser mouse.

Looking for a change to bluetooth so I don't have to have the receiver on my desk as bluetooth is built into my laptop.

Can anyone recommend me a decent set?

Was looking at the apple bluetooth keyboard and mouse, wondering whether it would work on a PC though?

Any problems with bluetooth keyboards and mice? Like delays etc?

Thanks.

Whatever you do, DON'T get a Trust Bluetooth mouse. It's slow to connect, has terrible battery life, and the buttons fail after 2 months of use.

Your KB is a Elite BTW not a LX700, that's another KB+Mouse kit.

Logitech use BT 2.0 so its faster, personally I hate BT, its will be a network device to your PC if its anything like the 1st Dinovo POS.

I would rather have FastRF.

B.T was ready to die out until Mobile Phones gave it a new lease of life.

I've got the Logitech MX5500 and have had it for a few months now (free warranty replacement for my MX3100), and it's been very good. No connectivity problems or anything like that, been quite surprised and impressed.

Only thing I have done is used the USB extension cable from my VX Nano mouse to connect the Bluetooth adapter, so that it sits on my desk. I found that having it plugged directly into my PC caused intermittent lag with the mouse, but it's fine now.

Anyone used the apple keyboard on a PC - it looks rather nice, so was thinking of getting one, possibly even the wireless bluetooth one.
