Recommend me a card please

Hi and thanks for looking. I'm not worried about the latest greatest card or SLI/XF. I'm just looking for a card, which will improve upon my 9800 GX2 (because it's expired) and provides the best 'bang per buck'. Not too worried about price but quietness is a plus point. Any recommendations would be most welcome.

Has to be 1 or 2 X 5770 at the moment. Everything else is way too expensive. best bang for buck just now in my humble opinion.

The 5xxx are all very quiet so another vote for a 5770 if you can't stretch to a 5850.

Thanks for the responses guys. I could probably afford £250, give or take a few pounds. Is the 5770 definitely an improvement on my 9800 gx2? I appreciate my card is a couple of years old now but the 5770 seems cheap.

Will generate a lot more noise than a 5770 though and use a lot more juice
5770 definitely the better option if you're looking for quietness and good performance for money. Otherwise you could reach out for a 5850...

My 5870 isn't quiet, my 5770 is though.

I'm not a fan of crossfire so i'd suggest a 5850 a well.
