I think i am going to buy or rather have bought for me a half decent chair as I spend a fair bit of time in a day on it. The current one from Staples was okay when new but pretty rubbish now.
Been looking at a Steelcase Leap v2. A Humanscale Freedom is another one that I am looking at though I was concerned about the lack of adjustment levers, but after watching a video I am quite taken with it.

Any other recommendations for a chair?
I think my budget will have to around the £300 mark hence the second hand market.

Milk crate.

This topic has never been discussed before search recommend me a chair, then buy an IKEA Markus or 2nd hand string chair mesh office thing.

I've a Herman Miller Aeron, the mesh seat is really comfy compared to traditional chairs.

I was actually given it by a friend, bonus given how much they cost!

Aeron if you want the most comfort and don't cross your legs.

I'm sitting on a Humanscale Freedom right now, it's dead comfy but so tempting to slouch on

I use one when working. Takes about a week to two weeks to get used to. After that, your productivity goes through the roof.

Steelcase Leap without a doubt! I bought one for myself last year and for me it's infinitely better than anything else I've sat on.

Had my Steelcase Leap which i bought second hand just over 5 years ago. Used heavily but still in great condition.

Wouldn't swap it for anything!
