Hello chaps,
Looking to add both of the above to my setup. I'll be running Matric on the tablet to create a streamdeck-esque interface for shortcuts, and additional controls for games like Elite Dangerous. That will be it's sole function, so the only requisite is access to the PlayStore.

I need a portable monitor that will sit in a mount to the side of my main display. Around 15", just for reading forums, watching YouTube / Netflix etc while playing fullscreen games like Elite Dangerous.

Ideally it'll offer USB input and receive both power and signal from this, but I can live with a separate power and signal cable too. Doesn't need a battery as it will live in the office. Bonus points if it has a mount with widely available adapters (ala VESA).

Ideally £100 or less, but @Relentless81 saved me 80 quid, so I'm flexible :p Any advice very much appreciated!

Amazon Fire HD, I got the 10 for £80 new

Easy enough to install playstore on and I've no complaints with so far it's pretty snappy for general browsing, streaming etc

I actually have one, left it off for too long and it won't take a charge. I've already side loaded it too. I guess if I can't get the thing to power on, I'll just get another :) Thanks mate!

Try speaking to Amazon maybe they will swap it out, worth a webchat and they are pretty good with these types of things especially on their own brand stuff

Dug it out, it's on and charging immensely slowly. As above it'll be plugged in anyways, so I'm all set and your input saved me around £80, legend!

OP will be amended to suit new requirement.
