Recommend me a cpu cooler

hi guys can u recomend me the best cpu cooler for my V300 please, no higher than 100mm absoloute max, looked at the CNPS 8000 which isnt all that good wondered if there is anything better.

100mm the absolute definite max? The Arctic Freezer series stands at 107mm in height.

I DID - thats why I selected the fan I did because its only 62mm High:

i said i had alredy looked at the CNPS 8000 and it isnt all that good at cooling so i asked if there was anything better

cheers, just looked on the thermaltake website and th cooler is 125mm high but that is with a 92x92x38mm fan, i may be able to mod a 92x92x25mm fan underneath the cooler to blow the hot air upwards

or possibly replace the fan with one that is slim.

You say looked at? Have you actually used one? They are actually very good. Used one on a media centre PC that we clocked to 3GHz (Conroe E6400) - Ran at 30 degrees all day and was extremely quiet.
