Recommend me a CPU Fan

Hello,

I have unfortunately broke a small part of my stock CPU fan for a Q6600, which is causing it to not entirely contact properly.

Could you please recommend me a CPU Fan, as well as what thermal paste to use? I have an Asus P5N-MX, LGA775.

Not looking to spend a fortune, but don't want it to be of poor quality either.

Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro Rev 2 CPU Cooler + MX4 thermal paste would do the job nicely.

AC 7 as MX2 thermal paste on it stock no need to buy anything more

Yes your quite correct, but a spare tube of thermal paste never comes in wrong.

How much taller is Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro Rev 2 CPU than a standard CPU cooler, as my case has a funnel or such from the CPU cooler to the outside? Not sure how else to describe it.

even if it touches it, which I do not think so, can't it be removed?

the air ducking is the flow cool air to the cpu cooler, it held in with 4 screws, just take it off. OR get THIS COOLER, i would remove the ducking

Had to remove the air duct from the cases my sons had, didn't notice any different in temps, as long as you have a resonable air flow in your case. What i did later on was to fit a fan in its place to blow air on to the mobo.
