So i'm looking out for a new desk I want something big enough for three monitors when I purchase the third and a midi sized tower I see a lot of the ikea Alex Drawers with counter top nice idea but the Alex drawers are just not for me anyone have any recommendations? Thanks

find a chest of draws you like at a decent price and get a counter top to set on them?
I honestly cant fault my alex draws and walnut countertop. Still looks brand new and ive had it nearly 4 years and moved it between 4 different houses in my car.
the benefit of going countertop means you can go as wide as you want really. I know you've said you dont like the alex but if you find other drawers make sure they are a little bit taller than the alex as I find they are a smidge too low even with a chunky worktop on them.
