Recommend me a fast FPS

I've been playing Medal Of honor Allied Assault for the lst 6 years almost non stop and I figured its time for a change.

I don't like the slower FPS games, i've tried CSS and i absolutly hated it ( bring on the bandwagon )

I'm asking for recommendations for an online fast paced FPS game. I really have no idea because I don't tend to play more than one game at once.

Been looking at Quake 3 although I don't know which version to get, also been looking at UT.

Yes, got bored of BF2, ran for 2 miles then got shot in the back by a guy with a sniper in a building, didn't errreally like it much.

2142 I failed to understand which drove me away from it. + its expensive hehe

Looking for a game to sharpen up my reactions a lot, find myself falling asleep and not fully wired into the game some of the time and its starting to get bad :cool:

I will indeed be waiting for Airborne but I don't have high hopes after Pacific Assault.

I own DoD:S just never installed it. Maybe I will try it tomorow, got it free with CSS ( waste of money ).

I find CSS too slow for my liking, sneaking very slowly around corners standing still to kill people is just not the way I enjoy playing. I found the only way I get kills is by using the SMGs and flying around corners lol. Kinda screws me up when I see an enemy and dance all over the place by default reaction, doesn't help

Been looking at project reality and not very impressed, looks like the same BF2 with modified models.

I do like CoD2 quite a lot, finding it hard to get attatched though. Didn't like HL2 dm much ( lol ) I'm so picky

I do like quake though.

No need for the bandwagon CSS arguement, its not my cup of tea, same with truebluecfc. But. I'm not going to start and arguement because it isn't needed, please jump off your high-horses CSS players, its not the best game in the world.

CSS please play me at moh

Gonna go have a test drive with ezquake/fquake. Will report back.

Got myself Quake 3 today and got 30 kills in 9 minutes on my first game

Won the game, against 2 other people. *proud*

Only ever won £30 playing moh, won a FFA tourny by 40 odd kills lol.

Wolfenstein is quite old now though I beleive and I don't know how the online community compares with other things such as quake/moh/hl2 dm/painkiller etc.

Indeedy, too slow. MOH for me is the perfect balance of fast paced action/aim and tactics. I fail to see anything fully replacing it

I don't need a tactics spam war please. Depending on the game you play you either rush to win or camp with AWPS *cough CS*

Camping and walking slowly make games boring slow and tedious IMO so please no more css, bf2 recommendations.
