Recommend me a FPS Multiplayer

Basically I am looking for a FPS MP game, which has a good community and good fun! I am willing to try anything really!

Black Ops 2 is probably a last resort unless it is a great price, as I already own it on console. Thanks :D
 
I tried Tribes, didn't feel like my type of game! PS2, I have played that a bit, but it can be hard to find battles sometimes? Not sure if that is just me though!

Off topic, but PapaLazaru, did you used to post on another forum? Wizards? Username sohnds familiar lol
 
Thanks for the recommendations guys! In response to the guy about BF3, I did enjoy the game on PS3, but the maps always seemed empty to me, even on full servers? Maybe better on PC with more players but I am not 100% sure my PC could run BF3 above 20FPS lol!

I have tried to talk a few mates into playing PS2 but no dice! lol, I will try a few more of the games recommended.
