Recommend me a game

Hi All

Im after a new Game for PC i usually flight sim but have BBC2 and crysis 2, I like realistic FPS really love Call of duty series (play them online on my PS3 due to everyone having same hardware and controllers etc + 46" of led but im after something to push my 480 that realistic (no aliens) something like modern warfare with good graphics im not that up on all the titles so up for suggestions

They have aliens and they won't stress your machine but I'd still suggest Mass Effect 1+2 which are on sale on Steam for a very good price right now.

LOL well should have separated those two comments a little, but single played of Call of duty MW was very good certainly more realistic than crysis etc

Are you looking for multi player or single player games?

Half-Life 2, Half-Life 2 Episode 1 & 2 are brilliant and you can make them very pretty using the Cinematic Mod - http://www.cinematicmod.com.

If you like realistic FPS (not like Call of Duty ) you may also want to look into Arma 2

ARMA 2 and Operation Arrowhead are the most realistic you can get, the graphics are great too if you have a system that can run it well enough.

Just Cause 2 is very very nice looking, the draw distance is insane, but it won't push your card as it's a very well optimised game. Would still recommend it though!

ARMA 2 is a great shout for military simulation shooter. Its a steep learning curve and not really in the same vein as CoD.

If you want something in the middle the new Operation Flashpoint: Red river does the job. gets slated in reviews for some reason but me and 3 mates are quite enjoying it.

I would imagine Operation Flashpoint is good with 3 mates but when I played the single player with 3 bots the AI was horrendous. This was on t'xbox round at my mates though.

Personally i think Arma 2 might be a bit too steep of a learning curve...i only like it when playing with a friend. Just to share the brunt of knowing whats going on or what we are ment to be doing. That aside it is the most realistic fps imo. you should have posted this last week when it was on steam for a bluey. The the voice commands are terrible at best, its so annoying.

BFBC2 is still the best game out atm imho (multiplay wise). I have lost so many hours to that game and i can play it on my own or with friends.

COD = **** after cod4. i do not understand why people buy/play it.

HomeFront is good fun, sorta a realistic FPS. the graphics won't really push your system much but its good fun on multiplayer and single player. Also you can have a play with vechicles if thats one of the aspects you like in BFBC2 =)
