Recommend me a good RTS ?

Hi, opened it up and it runs fine at 1280x800, even to the point where I want to up the quality slightly, however it wont let me change the shader quality from anything other than low ?? any ideas, i've installed the DX10 patch, though High and Dx10 are blanked out.

I believe it looks at how much memory your video card has, think you need 256MB to get the option to go higher.

I haven't tried online yet, but I have played a couple of games over LAN and it has been pretty awesome. Me and my friend played against a couple of AI opponents and they had a taste for his blood early on, so I had a couple of my fleets around his empire's planets. Really awesome when you're getting battered and suddenly a giant friendly fleet warps in and starts kicking butt :D

It did take a long time though, it can be slow depending on the map, the amount of players, whether there are pirates or not, and how the resources are spread out/generated. That said though, it does get pretty epic.

I'm sure online would be the same.
