Recommend me a GPU

Hi all.

I built my system 4 years ago. It's a 3570K i5 with 16gb RAM and a Radeon 7950. I'm wondering if I should build a new system or if a new GPU and a format will breathe life into it.

I use an Apple Cinema Display which has Mini DisplayPort only, this is why I went Radeon initially. I guess I could get an adaptor from DisplayPort.

What would you go with?

Hi. Yes, at 1080p normally. Also running Lightroom and Modo.

How about just doing a format first then see how you go.

Gtx 1060 or rx 580 should give you a good boost but the prices of the amd gpus are silly cus of them being used for mining.

GTX 1060 v 7970 (no option for the 7950)

1060 6GB would be my ideal choice

Even the gtx 1060 have gone up in price.
