It's for use with my Alienware laptop, was hoping to spend around 50

Generally any audio equipment from 'Gaming' brands don't get too much respect around here and in most places. This is usually because the item is either overpriced or crap or both

I personally don't know if those are any good but knowing Alienware, a lot of the price tag will be profit

Decent Stereo headset + addon mic.

AntLion ModMic is a great after-market stick on type, but you can also look at desk standing units also.
