Hi all,
I currently have a desktop running an ivy bridge i5 at 4.4ghz, 16gb ram, 2tb hd in raid 0, 240gb ssd, and a 570gtx
I'm looking to sell this and upgrade/side grade to a laptop.
I'm looking for similar performance (ish) even though I rarely game anymore (if i do it'll only be a popular mmo, or diablo 3)
I'm a graphic designer by trade, and don't often bring my work home with me, though it will need to run the adobe suite as well or better than the work iMacs do (2013 models)
I have a budget of around 1100, and am currently looking at the msi gs70, as well as the gx60/70. Also looked at the lenovo y510p with the sli upgrade (difficult to find a source for this though)
I understand the amd gpu in the gx series are better than the nvidia chips in my other selections, but the CPU is apparently lacking?
Can you guys shed nah light on this, and maybe advise me where to go?
Cheers
Jimmy
