Recommend me a lid

Evening all, coming back to biking after a good few years off and need a new lid. I used to have an OGK FF3 which fitted well but maybe a tiny bit too big.

Went to the local shop today and tried on a couple of Sharks and a couple of HJCs. The Sharks pressed far too hard on my forehead so I ruled those out (I think the models were S900 and S700?).

The best fit was the HJC RPHA10, but, that was still a bit wide in the ears, otherwise much more comfortable and a pretty good fit. I tried on an IS-17 and that didn't seem to fit at all.

Can anyone recommend anything else based on the above?

Cheers.

Anything you buy from a UK dealer will have had to pass certification, The only thing you can do is try them on and then try even more on.

The one thing i will say is buy one with a internal sun visor (if your going full face that is)

Where is your location ?

Yep, going to try as many on as I can just thought I'd see if anybody had already done the legwork. :D

I'm in Milton Keynes, not a great deal around here so probably need a weekend trip out.

I have a massive head and most lids press on the front. I recently bought a Schuberth S2 and I'm really impressed with it. Good fit, very quiet and the peripheral view is great. The drop down sun visor is a handy feature too. Worth trying one out.

Caberg lids are pretty cheap, almost all have top ratings on the Sharp scoring and most have an internal sun visor. I really like them.

Nolan are OK too.
Depends how much you have to spend. Beyond that, the best idea is to check out as many as you can. Fit is the most important part.

scorpion exo 500 some very nice features like inflatable cheek pads and internal sun visor, visor comes with a pinlock as standard too.

and ive chrashed in one before and it worked brilliantly, got the same again now lol
