Hi guys,

I'm trying to come back to mATX FF and i've got a pretty specific set of requirements:

Must be able to fit:

GTX 690
3x3.5" HDD's
1x2.5" HDD
closed loop for the CPU

It must be pretty as i'm quite fussy when it comes to aesthetics and ideally made of aluminum.

The TJ08-E is your best bet..

With the HDD cage in it can fit 4 X 3.5 HDD's or 3 x 3.5 and 1 x 2.5. You could always put the 2.5 up in the 5.25 with an adapter anyway..

It is long enough to fit a GTX 690 and has a GPU rest on the top of the drive cage to aid stability.

It has a 120mm fan slot at the back in the perfect place for a H80 (or simular).

Thanks both of you for your suggestions!

The only other case I was thinking of was the FT03 - What do you recon?

+1 for the TJ08-E, really pleased with mine. Small footprint but big enough to hold a really decent spec. - I've seen dual GPUs and even custom watercooling done in this case! It's aluminium front with steel sides/frame and a nice sleek look imo.

This is what I'm running in mine atm: i5-3570k / P8Z77-M PRO / Gigabyte Windforce 3x GTX 670 / 2 x SSDs and the AP180 fan at the front is keeping everything nice and cool

LL

I don't have the SSD at the side anymore, got this bay insert instead which can hold 4 x 2.5" drives:

I would be very interested in seeing a guts picture of your rig with all of that in it!

Had me confused for a minute there as the photo I posted was what you see is what you get! but I think I've confused you with the Windforce 3x GTX670 - that's the name for the card as it has 3 fans, did you think I meant 3 x 670s?!? I only have the one card!

If you are interested in this case I would recomment this thread:

And this is an example of custom W/C in this case:

Obviously you have to respect the form factor, you can't have it all! but I wouldn't see any problems running the setup you've suggested in the TJ08-E

That TJ08-E Owners thread is a great source of inspiration.. I visit regularly.

The only problem with the TJ08-E (from a watercooling point of you) is that is has a 230mm front fan rather than 2 x 120mm which can be found on the PS07. Though many people have still been able to mount a 240mm Radiator at the front of the case (even a H100).

Other than that, it'll take a H80 which ease and a lot of big Air coolers (not the TC14PE, silver arrow).

Loving the look of yours martain aphid. :) I have a D14 (which the two supplied fans) with an extra 120mm fan on the back.. Temps don't go over 65 at 4.7Ghz (under load).. Im really happy.

Oh God... I feel so ******* retarded right now, I did definitely think you had 3 GTX 670's in there, was very impressed for a minute.... Haha.
