I have not upgraded for the past 1 year

I had a 27 inch Asus 2560x1440 144hz G sync monitor, I loved it, but 27" was too small

I then got a LG 32" 2560x1440 165hz G sync LG32K850G

Now I love the 32 inch screen, but the pixels on the LG screen is bigger, the Asus monitor has smaller pixels making it more sharp

For instance using Microsoft word on the Asus you cannot see the individual pixels but on the LG you can

So not sure if i want to go back to a 27" Ideally a 32 inch

something with High refresh rate and defo G Sync

4k sounds nice but the gysnc high refresh on 4k to expensive

Got a Asus 2080ti on a intel i9 9820x X299 board

around 1k, i sell my lg for 300 or so add 700 or so

I went from a 32" 4k 60hz to 1440p 165hz 27" and the difference is night and day after only a day on the monitor.

There is a reason 27" is the sweet spot for 1440p and that's the ppi. 4k @32"+ would be optional but I really would advise against 60hz, and you don't have the GPU power for 144hz @ 4k. That's where we find ourselves in the pc universe. I've been looking for a few weeks at my options and the best I found was 3 year old technology, Acer predator XB271HU

I have a 40 inch 4k 60hz monitor. Its great for all gaming.

Not too big for the pixels and not too small to have to adjust everything so I can see it

The only monitor I would consider as a sensible upgrade (aside from the super expensive 4k IPS high refresh ones) is a 34 inch ultrawide.
You gain 35%(?) extra real estate but with the same pixel density as a 27 inch 1440p.
Absolutely no way could I go back to 60hz from 144hz, regardless of how high the resolution was.

Why not have two monitors? One for work and one for play.
That can be down to personal preference. I have tried to run a dual monitor setup on a number of occasions (I've always had the desk space to do so) but I always end up reverting to a single monitor. I'm just a bit picky when it comes to keeping my workspace tidy and a second monitor with the requisite cables just eventually gets on my wick. Plus there's just the nice continuity when using one ultrawide monitor as opposed to two separate ones. Just my preference as I say.
