Recommend me a MP3 Player please

I have a first gen Apple Mini Ipod and the sound quality is just terrible, and the battery life is even worse.

I'm looking to get a non-Ipod mp3 player but have been out of the loop for so long I don't know what to get. I'm ideally looking to get 4GB+ of storage.

The interface is important, I just about got used to using the Ipod extension for Winamp, and I'd prefer not to use othersoftware. I know there are some that you can just drag and drop files which would be sweet.

What would you guys recommend? My budget is no more than £50

I'd say you'd be very hard pressed to get a 4GB Mp3 player for £50.

You need to go closer to £100 for 4GB.

The cheapest 4GB mp3 player I found was the Archos XS100 at ~£80

Try googling it.
