Recommend me a NAS and switch

I'm looking to get a NAS for Xmas but also need a small gigabit switch too.

I've been looking at the LG N2R1 NAS Enclosure With DVD±RW or the Netgear RND2000 ReadyNAS Duo 2-Bay NAS Enclosure. I have drives I can drop in there straight away so going 2 x 1TB isn't an issue.

Any other recommendations?

Also, need a small 4 or 5 port switch too. Preferably Gb connection.

Vote for the Netgear ReadyNAS Duo here. Netgear are doing a free disk offer right now too, so if you buy the 1TB you get a free 1TB disk, buy a 2TB you get a free 2TB etc. They have just updated the firmware to 4.1.7 which officially supports Advance Format 4K disks too. Only issue is you have to claim the disk by sending off for it and people have been waiting 8 weeks for the free drive to arrive.

For a small Gigabit switch the Netgear GS105 is adequate, should be about £35 now
