Recommend me a New ISP please :)

I've got a great service with plus.net... They prioritise gaming traffic and even sent me a free i-plate...
I have to totally disagree with you there bud.
-net have the worse customer service ive ever experienced
there so called priority gaming traffic is BS .
I changed from them 3 months ago after 4 years of suffering a 20gb cap (yes i fear change)
and moved to skyBB , best move i ever made
and my pings have even gone down

We're moving from IDNET to O2 shortly, purely cost though as the other half wants to save some cash and she got us a deal with O2 for £6/month unlimited up to 8meg and £90 cashback. Don't ask me how, she's always pulling money out of a hat!

IDNET have been fantastic though, rolling 1month contract and never had such a fast gaming ISP. Hopefully O2 don't let me down on that front, but at that price I'll just find something else to do and save the cash!

It doesn't have a 4TB download limit. I posted hearsay about what their idea of "excessive network usage" involves. You're misquoting me ;)

4TB is an absolute shed load anyway, far in excess of what any sane person, even someone sharing their connection could do regularly, and excessive by anyone's standards.

hmm I may have too leave UKonline :)

Yeah UKonline are decent, it's effectively the same service as Sky as Sky own UKonline. If you're happy with the service and what you're paying for it there's no reason to change.

Oh by the way, i have a little question, lol, if i want to connect two PC's to the Internet at the same time, do i only need 1 router or 1 router and 2 modems? newbie question i know, lol.

You can only connect one modem at a time, you then use a router to share that connection between multiple PC's, so it's 1 modem and 1 router. Most ISP's will provide an integrated modem/router as part of your contract.

so im thinking o2 Broadband and just was having a look at some of there broadband Packages and i was Thinking either the Premium or Pro package.
Anyone with o2 broadband, is there much difference between the premium and Pro packages? apart from the Router and max Upload speed?
