Hi

My beloved Honor 9 is smashed to bits and I need something to replace it.

Only thing I have disliked about the Honor is poor camera in low light. If it wasn't for that, I'd probably just buy another.

Any suggestions about what to look at that will replace it and resolve that single minor Issue?

Thanks

I'll just add that I am travelling and my phone is essential so any pointers to an alternative to go buy tomorrow would be much appreciated.

Thx

Thank you to all.

My only concerns about the 6a having now read reviews is a) poor WiFi (see username for a clue to my job!) b) dim screen in sunlight c) slow charging. I am often in a) poor coverage areas b) sunny places c) limited charge times/no mains power.

Will it still fit the bill? Thanks.

By wifi if you mean 4G/5G it's very network/location dependant, but if you really mean wifi then there's no problem at all. I'm using the older 6 Pro with the same modem, but not really had any issues here in the UK. Family member is using the 6a on EE, no issues too. Didn't have any issues in sunlight either as long as you leave it on adaptive brightness (manual max brightness is lower than auto adaptive). Charging is not an issue as long as you're using a USB-PD PPS charger 18W or more. If you're really worried about battery life turning off 5G and sticking with 4G is a good boost, but really from the sounds of things you should also invest in a power bank as well, no matter what phone you pick.
