Hello
I haven’t built a computer for 12 years! That one just died but was pretty good until the end.
Would one of you be kind enough to recommend parts for the new build?
I want a very snappy reliable pc with plenty of space for programming and some gaming - don’t want to spend more than £350 on a gpu and want it to be v quick for general computing. I already have an ultra wide monitor (41” ASUS something).

Couple of potential tweaks. I don’t need WiFi on the motherboard and would prefer a 2tb drive. Any thoughts on those? Otherwise looks great
 
Looks like 2TB drives are 3x the price, maybe a 1TB for now and I’ll add another later on when I need it. Is there any harm in installing an old spinning disk drive for storage of old files that don’t need quick access?

1. Pc part picker has not heard of the PSU you suggest but has heard of this https://www.overclockers.co.uk/msi-...source=************ _127079_Communities+&+UGC - what’s the difference any idea?
2. The motherboard has Bluetooth - finally Bluetooth on a desktop! (For me) - this is gonna work right I can use bluetooth headphones etc.

If I'm right and you want to game at that kind of resolution, £350 is not going to work. Realistically, you'd need to blow your entire budget just on the graphics card. At the very least, I'd want a 4070 or 6800 non-XT for 4K.

If you only mean casual gaming (especially older, or esports games), then sure, you might get away with it.

I just won’t run it at native resolution then. The budget is just what it’s worth to me.
