SO far all the componenet add up to 350W

8800GTX
2 Laptop HD's
1 DVDRW
Soundblaster
2 Case Fans
Silverstone SG03 Case
2 * DDR2 Sticks

Need a silent/quiet PSU, was thinking of a Enermax Libert 620W with replacement 120mm Acoustic Dustproof fan running at 7V, since the PSU fan will be facing outwards, i.e pulling cold air in not exhausting warm air, then running a quiet fan at 7V should be fine...

Do I really need a 620Watt psu or will a 520Watt Liberty be fine?, also any other recommendations, PSU has to be modular...

The 520W would be more than enough for what you have listed, even with a moderate overclock too. Enermax are decent PSUs, I would go for one of those. There is also the possibility of the Corsair 520W, but there is nothing wrong with the Enermax you have suggested. get it!

I wouldn't buy any high quailty PSU now that don't come with a 8pin PCI-express connector...

The Enermax Infiniti 650watt and 720watt PSU's both have the new 8pin PCI-express connector...

Review for the 720watt here http://www.jonnyguru.com/review_details.php?id=102

The OcUK links don't work btw. A 700W PSU is complete overkill. 650W is also un-needed - especially in this situation. 500W's is ideal and provides enough power like I say for all the components and a good moderate overclock. A 600-700W PSU would come in if there were 5 HDD's, SLi, watercooling, big overclock on CPU etc. The point I'm trying to make is that for that specification of PSU you are going to need a list of components and a setup that is truely demanding.

OK fair enough....

But i would not recommend a Corsair HX520W 520watt PSU if his looking for a quiet PSU

Corsair HX520W 520watt PSU
I had to whack a half a point away for the buzzing noise and loud fan.

I only recommended the Corsair as its a popular PSU on the forums, and recommended by a great crowd of enthisasts. I don't have one myself so I can't personally recommend it. I have always used Antec PSUs myself and I would strongly recommend them, the only modular PSUs Antec do are not currently stocked by OcUK (Antec Neo).

There are many options though throughout the PSU product page on OcUK, a strong contender is the Akasa Ultra Quiet range, they are very good.

Well Enermax have discontinued there Liberty range and bringing out the DXX range with the 8 pin PCI-E connector, so same psu but 8 pin connector, available in same configirations as original liberty, also a few people have had success with replacing the liberty stock fan, so guess that is the PSU i will go for.., and the fact that it has a fan monitoring cable means I do not need to make a hole to route through the replacement fan power cable...

I was going to go for the Semi fanless Nestec 500watt, but it also has the buzzing noise, so would rather go with a psu with a fan without the buzzing noise.."excludes tagan" as the fna can always be replaced....
