Recommend me a PSU ?

Hi guys.

Could somebody please recommend me a PSU suitable for my system. Noise is not really an issue, neither is Modular cabling. The system is run 24/7 at full load as a folding rig. Im currently running a 580w Hiper Type-R, but unfortuntly this seems a bit underpowered and has melted the 4pin 12v atx plug :eek:

Asus P5B Deluxe
Q6600 G0 @ 422x9 3.8ish - 1.575vcore
Overvolted Northbridge (1.45v iirc)
2Gb of OCZ PC9200 @ 1250mhz with 2.45v
WD Raptor
8800GTS 320Mb
Creative x-fi soundcard
Samsung DVDRW
Laing D5 Water Pump
Laing DDC Pro Water Pump
12x120mm Antec Fans
2x80mm Antec Fans
60mm Asus VRM Fan
2x12" UV Cold Cathodes

Have been wondering all day whether to replace my Hiper or not...

Now just to pick a new case.... that Hush loooks nice and quiet :D
 
Cheers Guys,

I can't really knock the Hiper, its served me well since my Opteron 144 days.. Very good PSU imo.

I don't mind spending some money on one, and was thinking of the Coolermaster 1Kw Modular one, or the Enermax one. Which is the best to go for ?

Actually, nvidia recommends a 1.1KW psu for tri-sli :eek:
Though I'm sure it would run fine on less as consumption peaked at "only" ~750W...

The Corsair gets nothing but praise but if I was buying a psu for my self I'd go for the VX550 model as it looks a bit better on paper at least.
