Recommend me a PSU.

Hi,
I need a new PSU after mine went bang,
I have been thinking about the 3 below but would
like your recommendations.
I want one with over 600Watts, it has to be silent, modular and of course reliable.

I have the Dark Power Pro 650w in my pc right now and it is nice and quiet. You can aslo hook 3 pin case fans straight into the 4 dedicated sockets.

Good choices very hard to choose, I would go with the New BeQuiet PSU then the Corsair, don't ask why

Looking at your sig, my Enermax Liberty failed after 14 months use.

Either the 650w BeQuiet Dark Power Pro or Corsair HX 650W, both are good PSUs, I have the Dark Power pro myself...

Between them all there's not much. All modular, all around the same wattage, all good enough efficiency. Nothing wrong with any of them, so i'd have gone with the cheapest (Corsair) but i don't have any noise figures. Never heard a bad word said about them though.

The corsair has a 7 year warranty.

Screams quality to me.

Sorry to go off topic, (looks as though you've got your answer there anyhow) but can you explain the difference between 'Modular' and erm.. non modular? TIA

non modular has all the cables hanging out the back ready to use.
modular only has a couple.
all the rest are seperate ready to be plugged in if required.

means you don't have loads of cables to hide in your case.
