Recommend me a really cheap DD-WRT backup router

So my TP-Link Archer VR900 went a bit mental last week and we were without internet for a few hours because of it. I have a spare Openreach modem and BT Home Hub 5, but that combination doesn't work since I'm with Plusnet. What I really need is my old D-Link DIR-615 or Netgear DG384G back but sadly I donated both to family members.

Would used be the best route here, used or an el-cheapo new router? All I want is something for like £15 that'll work if my main router dies again (1x Ethernet and basic WiFi is fine). I remember using DD-WRT on my DIR-615 and it allowed me to use my Plusnet login details so any old router that supports DD-WRT should work fine.

Thanks for suggestions!

Hmm how strange, I looked through the settings and found nothing about broadband username and password. Must've missed it! Thanks for that.
