I'm looking for a router to share a cable connection between a PC connected with a cat5 cable, a laptop connected via wireless and eventually a Nintendo Wii:)
I don't really know much about them, what's the best to go for?
Thx

i'd go for the following:

Netgear WGT624 108Mbps Wireless Firewall Router (NW-021-NG)
Price: £51.95 (£61.04 Including VAT at 17.5%)

It's a cable modem with a 4 LAN ports, and wireless access. it's also got a firewall too, which is a nice feature. I'm not sure how secure it's firewall is, but it'll be good enough for home usage.

I've had some good times with netgear stuff. I have a Netgear GS608 8-Port Gigabit Desktop Switch, and Netgear WG602v3 54Mbps Access Point.

It's a wireless "broadband" router, not a modem. You'd use the cable modem you've already got.

Might be worth looking at the Linksys WRT54GL too. Range of (feature enhancing) non-Linksys firmware, and it's generally decent.
Over and above that, making use of this forum's search function might be a good idea.
