Have had my trusty Netgear RT311 router since May 2000 and although it has never missed a beat I've discovered that it's now acting as a bottleneck, unable to cope with the throughput of a 10mbit cable connection.
So I'm looking for a new router. Main requirements are that it's reliable, well built (pref metal cased), fanless and has good routing throughput.
Wireless/inbuilt switches etc I'm not fussed about as I already have a good AP and gigabit switch, but I wouldn't exclude something because of it.
Any recommendations?
