Recommend me a router

Hi

I am with Sky and as far as I am aware their black router 102 is it, is no good?

Therefore I am using an old router from a previous ISP called Technicolour MediaAccess TG589vac, it has 2.4 and 5ghz dual band which is good although I use ethernet for my primary use which is gaming on the PC.

My main uses are online gaming, downloading, streaming movies from PC to TV downstairs locally, streaming netflix and then general use such as mobiles.

Due to me having problems with this TG589vac recently and the PPP settings reverting back to previous ISP's resulting in me losing connection with Sky, despite a dozen retries of reentering and factory resetting, I feel it may be time for me to buy a new router.

Please can anyone recommend to me? I dont want a cheap rubbish one but I dont want to spend over £100 either

Have you even tried to see if the Sky router does the job? Seeing as you don't want to spend much.

using sky now, the other one is buggered, will find out if sky one is ok or not, just doing my research and asking around so im ready to buy a better one should i need too, been recommended ASUS
