Recommend me a switch...

Hi,
I need at minimum, an 8 port (2.5 gb/per port) switch for my home network upgrade.

I'll be connecting it to a Virgin Media Hob 4 (modem mode) and a TP-Link Deco home mesh kit, and RPi with PiHole.

Your best bet would be a MS108UP really, but does all ports need to be 2.5?

There's a few cheaper brands offering 2.5G switches with some great reviews.

I have 2 of those Vimin branded ones which are shown in the video
They're working perfectly, had no issues at all. Cost £53 each

Currently using a Binardat 8 Port 2.5G Switch with 10G SFP+ Port, 8 x 2.5 Gigabit RJ-45 Base-T Ports, it's currently going for £86, although I got mine for £70. It's basically one of the cheaper ones like those mentioned above.

No obvious issues, it supports vlan on the 8 2.5G ports so they don't communicate with one another and only go direct to the 10G port but I don't use it for obvious reasons
