Recommend me a toolkit :)

I find kits always miss something you need.... so do what i do.... buy each tool on it's own or buy 2 or 3 kits and make you own with all you have......

at least then you will have some spare when heads break on screw drivers etc

A couple of crosshead screwdrivers?

I can't think of a time when I've ever needed anything else :o

+1

I've got a single screwdriver that I use for everything (size1 I think) sometimes a flathead can be useful to help "persuade" the side of the case to come off, but that's it.

I recommend you buy yourself a decent tool box/case and hand pick the tools yourself.

Not only will it be much cheaper as you will only be purchasing the things you actually need but also the tools will be of much better quality. Hand pick a set of pro tools or decent drivers with good heads and good quality grips and your laughing.

You will end up having a nice custom tool case with a set of high quality tools. Most of the sets on offer out there contain cheap poor quality tools.

I certainly wouldn't splash out £163 on that Belkin set.

How much.... £163 I dont think so..... I have loads of tools that do everything I need to do and im in the job of repairing everything.

Here's just a few of the things I use them on
Servers, PC's, Laptop's/Netbooks, Mobile Phones, PDA's, Bare Bone Components
Routers, Switches, UPS's, Phone Systems.
My Car aswell as house hold stuff.....replacing a belt on my washing machine two months back plus many many more.

and I can safely say all my tools did not cost no more than about £60 all in...

That Belkin kit looks the part but we all know what looking the part really means ....
:-)

Im not 100% sure but a couple of years ago halfords tools carried a lifetime warranty.

I do have loads of there tools and they have never let me down, good quality.
