Recommend me a wireless ADSL Modem Router :)

Hi there,

sorry I know this is a popular question, but none of the results I found in the last few pages gave a great answer to the question; I'm looking for a new ADSL modem router, as my old Belkin 125Mbps one has got to the point where it randomly drops the connection and freezes (you cant even access the webadmin), so its getting to the point where its got to go.

Ideally Im looking for a wireless modem router that is good at picking up and maintaining a adsl connection (I know some are meant to be more prone to dropping a line than others; and as I live in the country side further away from an exchange, this is important), and I'd like the wireless quality to be reasonable, the faster and better the range it has the better

Mostly it'll be used for net access (games etc) and for transfering music between pcs.

I was looking at some Netgear stuff (ie Rangemax), as my experience with this Belkin has sort of put me off them a little; but Im open to suggestions.

I had a netgear dg834pn, used it with a netgear WGT311T 108mbps wireless card and it was solid as a rock, never dropped.

I like the quality of Netgear products, see:

If you need distance on your wireless network, look at the RangeMax, otherwise SuperG range or lower will do.

Generally speaking Netgear do a good job, but you can still be unlucky with them if your line has particular specific conditions that they don't like.
