Recommend me an FPS

Been playing Half Life 2 all morning (haven't gotten round to trying CS:S etc that came with it) and all i have to say is WOW! :)
 
Never been a huge fan on online FPS gameplay got BF2 on a recommendation of a friend.

Im hooked, looks lovely, plays really well, has idiots tho but get on a good well run server in a good squad and its hugely satisfying to take out enemy flags and hold them from the onslaught.

HL2 & CS:S are good tho, as it Q4 for the good old fragfest.

IMHO Best looking and best playing FPS out there atm is BF2
 
Far Cry, Quake 4, FEAR, the usual suspects....if you don't mind old stuff, Quake 2/3 Arena and the original Half Life are also excellent.
 
Although not great graphics wise any more, the original Unreal Tournament has the best gameplay I've played in any game, very fast and furious. The scene is in decline these days, but it could be worth a pop if you can find it for a fiver (try the 'instagib' servers, a lot more fun imo)
