I'm looking for a mmo type (large scale involvement ie minimum 70+ players) pc game. Ive been trying foxhole but even though the server is 140 ppl maximum it doesnt feel that involved (most ive seen is 20) disappointingly.

Black Desert Online ?
BF1 ?

Anything in alpha/beta that has huge potential?

Eve online is the only one worth getting seriously involved imo. It has been there for 15 years and will be there for another 15 easily, your efforts won't be wasted.

Black Desert online is going for 6.99 might grab that.

i would love an mmo i could chill from on the sofa with controller support (official support)

Fifa fits that but isnt really large scale but its enjoyable i guess. Havent tried 18 though.

Elder scrolls online seems to be getting a helluva lot better also.

Fifa, couch, mmo, controller and black desert online? Most of these things couldn't be further apart.

Mate you might want to rethink what you actually looking to play :)

FFXIV is actually well built for controllers, Some of the best players actually play with a controller on it.

Planetside 2 and Guild Wars 2 maybe. Not sure the fight numbers on both of those but I can't imagine they'd be lower than 70. Both F2P so you could give them a bash and if they don't do what you want nothing lost!

EVE online if you want to invest into something you'll be focused on, BDO for fun and indepth side content such as trading. ESO for basic combat and lore style MMO.

WoW is an obvious option, but it's so watered down to what it used to be, I'd suggest getting on a vanilla private server, A LOT more friendly and more people group up.

Nail head really. I'm not sure what I want..I'll have to rethink this.

Tho I decided to give BDO a miss

Guild wars 2 when doing meta events or the world bosses.

My wife loves GW2, however, I just see it as a high end player train chasing down repetitive world bosses to get stuff. Any new player would be quickly spat out with no idea what's going on.
