I have played most all MMO's but I'm looking for a new fix to keep me going until GW2.

Now my PC is bust at the mo but hoping to have it fixed soon but what would you guys recommend I could play.

- Not WoW, bored of it now.
- Not Eve, I don't have enough time to put into it.

I'm open to all other suggestions but to give you some history played SWTOR (a bad wow clone) Rift(boring as soon as the uniqueness of the rifts wore off) LOTRO (never really got into it) Aion/WAR (bad games) DCUO (not to my tase)

So yeah I'm awkward :p would try any of the above games again if you can convince me it's worth it (apart from wow or eve)

Thanks in advance for the help :)

Unfortunately none :( sad sad times.
I hate to think how many I've played and non are on par with SWG and even that should look old and rubbish by now. Why oh why oh why have you not created proper MMOs yet.

Ever thought MMO's arent your thing?

Personally i'd go kill some time on a few good indie games or something until GW2

I do love MMO's.

I'm just cursed that my good times in MMO's are behind me and I'm finding the theme park craze irritating.

the only other one ive been able to stick at apart from wow is rift, depending what you want to get out of the game. PVP is a joke at the moment for new players as its an insane grind to get to a stage where youre competitive. the PVE however is superb imo, only wow has better/equivalent.

ive tried all of the ones youve mentioned and flirt between wow and rift :D

Maybe you should try Diablo 3 or torchlight 2 there not MMOs but they are similar; dungeons, bosses, loot and coop. That's my best suggestion as from what you've said I can't think of any of the current mmo's that are different enough from wow. Maybe try age of Conan, I didn't like it but I hear it's improved a lot since launch or star trek online might be worth a go.

Maybe you should try League of Legends, you could also try Perfect world international. If you don't mind paying for a game then you could try Skyrim or Diablo 3

I would agree with you 100%, There are only a few good ones atm , Maybe the new Guild Wars might bring the MMO back to be good again we will have to see......

The problem is it's another rpg and there's been far too much focus on RPGs in the mmo genre and it's starting to stagnate. MMOs need to focus on another sub genre for a while to get some fresh ideas into the market. I'm sure gw2 will be good but i'm far more interested in planetside 2 and firefall (mmofps) and end of nations (mmorts) as I've OD on rpg and need something new.

Dungeons and Dragons online is a great game, it's worth a look. It's a little different to the standard WoW clone, which seems to be what you want here. It's F2P but the F2P system is fine, so it's worth a look.

Its a fun game with friends, its the only MMO I've played which uses the original dungeon master protocols, its so well optimized aswell, my crappy laptop that could run S.T.A.L.K.E.R on medium, yet Morrowind barely on minimum () could also run DDO on pretty high settings, so its very hardware friendly!
