Recommend me an online FPS

Hi all,

I've been out of the online FPS game for a while (playing star craft 2) and want to get back into it with something new. The last FPS's I played were MW2 then BC2. Has there been any releases since then that a worthy of a purchase?

Not really imo. Bad Company 2 is still top of the tree for me. I have tried a few others such as Crysis 2 and Medal of Honor, but still come back to BC2.

I have not played Homefront or Brink though. Homefront is supposed to be crap, but i think that Brink is fairly well thought of.

Not long to wait until Battlefield 3 now anyway

I hear this new star wars mod for COD4 MW1 is meant to be pretty good?

bfbc2 it age by now but it still very good compare to other online fps come october bf3 in all it glory. but for now i would have to say bfbc2, MOH, L4D2 and TF2

CSS, TF2, L4D2, BFBC2, MW, perhaps MOH.

A few of these games are going to get official OcUK servers soon too

css is allways a crowd pleaser tbh homefront is a waste of money hacked to death l4d2 is a giggle and bc2

8: L4D2 (reason for so low as its not really an FPS like other games, dont get me wrong it is good!
9: Quake online
10: RF armageddon (reason for being so low its not an FPS but a very VERY Good shooter! )

Just avoid War Inc Battlezone the free game doing the rounds on steam atm.

Utter crud, its third person simply to distance itself from superior first person games. Thats my theory anyway. If you play this when you own the likes of bc2 you must be destroyed in the head.

Having just got back into the FPS scene myself I would recommend TF2, its free but probably worth buying one of the starter bundles for 49p to upgrade to premium.
